Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using ExtensionWatch websites, APIs, data feeds, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Services

ExtensionWatch provides market intelligence and structured data relating to browser extensions, add-ons, and related ecosystems. Features, coverage stores, and data fields may change. Nothing on the site constitutes investment, legal, or compliance advice.

3. Access and accounts

Certain features may require registration, API keys, or separate agreements (e.g. data license). You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse.

4. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) scrape or overload systems beyond documented API limits; (b) use the Services to violate applicable law or third-party rights; (c) resell or redistribute data except as permitted in writing; (d) attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security; (e) use data to spam, harass, or send unsolicited bulk contact to developers. [Adjust for your product policy.]

5. Intellectual property

ExtensionWatch branding, software, and curated datasets (as licensed to you) remain protected by applicable rights. Third-party store names and marks belong to their owners. No implied license except as expressly stated.

6. Data accuracy and disclaimers

Data is compiled from public sources and pipelines and may be incomplete, delayed, or erroneous. The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither ExtensionWatch nor its operator shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Aggregate liability for direct damages may be capped as set forth in a separate order form or, absent such form, at the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. [Jurisdiction-specific limits may apply - legal review required.]

8. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify the operator against claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms, subject to customary carve-outs.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Services. Material changes may be communicated by posting an updated date or notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

10. Governing law and venue

[Specify governing law and courts - e.g. Poland / EU - after legal advice.] Consumer mandatory rights remain unaffected where applicable.

11. Contact
