Use of the Service

ExtensionWatch provides browser extension research, monitoring, statistics, search and dashboards based on public store metadata and internal analysis. By accessing the website or using protected features, you agree to use the service only for lawful business, research, monitoring or informational purposes.

Protected areas, admin dashboards and any non-public APIs may be used only with valid authorization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activity under your account.

If you use ExtensionWatch on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization and its users to these terms.

Account Terms

Accounts must be registered and used by real persons. Automated account creation, shared accounts, credential transfer and access through another person's account are not permitted unless we have expressly approved the arrangement.

You must keep account information accurate, protect passwords and access tokens, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or any other security incident. We may suspend or terminate access if account use violates these terms, creates security risk or interferes with the service.

Communication

We may contact you by email or other reasonable means about service operation, security, account access, legal notices, support requests and important product changes. Marketing communication, if used, will provide an opt-out mechanism where required by law.

User Content

If you submit notes, feedback, files, labels, comments, reports or other material to ExtensionWatch, you are responsible for that content and must ensure that you have the rights needed to provide it. Submitted content must not infringe third-party rights, contain malware, include unlawful material, impersonate others, expose confidential information without authorization or be used for spam or abusive activity.

We may remove content or restrict access where content appears unlawful, harmful, misleading, security-relevant or inconsistent with these terms.

Data and Third-Party Materials

ExtensionWatch indexes and displays information from third-party browser extension stores, including store names, publisher names, descriptions, ratings, user counts, icons, screenshots, store URLs and related metadata. These third-party materials may belong to the relevant stores or publishers. ExtensionWatch does not claim ownership of browser extensions, store listings, logos, screenshots or publisher content.

Before republishing third-party materials outside ExtensionWatch, you are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable store terms, publisher terms and intellectual property rights.

Permitted Data Use

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, ExtensionWatch data may be used for internal research, competitive analysis, market monitoring, risk review and reporting. Automated scraping, bulk extraction, resale, sublicensing, public redistribution or use that overloads the service is not permitted without prior written approval.

If paid plans, enterprise exports or API licenses are offered, their permitted use, quotas, redistribution rights and support obligations will be governed by the applicable order form or written agreement in addition to these terms.

Prohibited Use

You may not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, security controls or access restrictions; interfere with service operation; use the service for unlawful activity; upload malicious code; reverse engineer non-public systems; or misrepresent ExtensionWatch data as official data from a browser store, publisher or platform.

Data Accuracy

Extension metadata can change in the original stores at any time. ExtensionWatch aims to present indexed data accurately but does not guarantee that every value is complete, current or error-free.

Fees and Subscriptions

Public pages may be available without charge. If paid features, subscriptions, data exports or custom services are purchased, the applicable fees, renewal terms, cancellation rules and taxes will be stated at checkout, in an order form or in a separate written agreement.

Unless stated otherwise in the applicable agreement, fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Availability and Changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, datasets, pages, APIs and reports may change, be corrected, be removed or become temporarily unavailable. We may update these terms when the service, legal requirements or business model changes.

Intellectual Property

The ExtensionWatch website, software, interface, analysis methods, original text, branding and internal datasets are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from protected ExtensionWatch materials except as allowed by law or by a separate written agreement.

Copyright and Rights Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content displayed on ExtensionWatch infringes your rights, please provide enough information for us to identify the content, understand your claim and contact you. We may remove or disable access to content where appropriate.

ExtensionWatch links to browser stores, publisher websites and other third-party resources. We do not operate or endorse those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, security, availability and error-free functionality.

We do not warrant that information from browser stores, publishers, third-party websites, crawlers or analysis systems is accurate, complete, reliable, current or suitable for your intended use.

Liability

ExtensionWatch is a research and statistics service. It is not legal, security, financial or investment advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on incomplete, outdated or third-party data, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from service use.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, damages, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the service, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights or content you submit to the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend, restrict or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay applicable fees or use the service in a way that may harm ExtensionWatch, other users or third parties.

Governing Law and Miscellaneous

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the provider's registered seat, unless mandatory consumer protection or other mandatory law provides otherwise. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our prior consent. No joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship is created by using the service. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
